Welcome to our Kāri Kai. A functional, fun way to bring te reo to the table.
We have created a set of 12 kai cards (9cm x 5cm) - our thinking is that these can be out on the tēpu/table during kai time, with reo prompts to support with the use of te reo during a meal. We think these will be great for a kāinga/home, at mahi/work, at kura/school, maybe even a set for the waka/car to take in to wharekai/restaurants with you?!?!
10 kāri have a pātai/question on one side, with whakautu/answer options on the other side.
There is one kāri with a karakia for kai.
And another kāri with some helpful calls to let people know kai is ready.
These kāri are all bilingual, meaning there are translations for each question, answer, phrase, karakia etc.
Printed in Ōtautahi on sturdy card stock, designed to be something you don't mind looking at, priced to be something you're not too worried about if the sauce spills on it.
